We realize the importance of staying home during this time of the unknown. We are following the State of Ohio Health and CDC's Guidelines to ensure the safety of our facility and for the benefits of the cats. We still believe that most of the population is not infected, but may want or need a companion during these stressful times. Please call and speak with our Manager or Director to ease your concerns in visiting us. We ask that you be healthy, without symptoms to come to visit the Sanctuary. 216-671-6369
We receive many calls every week asking for assistance for placement into the shelter. We can not accept ANY new cats at this time. We just do not have the resources to add to our population. We would ask you if you would consider making a donation so we can continue to find homes for these cats.
We are so lucky to have an individual call us and adopt our 18-year-old cat. She was brought to us from Cleveland APL and has been with us for a few years now. Thank you to love Princess for the rest of her years. We so appreciate your thoughts for her and welcome her into your home.
We are so thankful for the kindness from Angelo's Pizza for allowing us to participate and to contribute to our mission to help save cats until we have found them their forever homes. They are one of the "giving back" businesses in the Lakewood community. Please join us for an evening of great Pizza and Pasta from one of Lakewood' oldest pizza restaurants.
I'm Sabrina, a 2-year-old sweetie and resident of Purr-Fect Companions Sanctuary since 2016. I was the last kitten alive of a litter born outside a condo building; luckily I was rescued and given a warm and loving home at Purr-fect. But now I'm sick and need some help! That's why I'm all hunched up in my resting place.
Last November, my leg started hurting and after many tests and X-rays, the vet suspects cancer and has to remove my leg next week. (Yikes! But believe it or not, cats adjust quickly and can do very well on three legs!)
